Terms of Service

The terms on which this website is provided and on which we accept engagements.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of physicalshare.in and any enquiry you submit through it. By using the site you accept them. If you engage us, a separate written engagement letter will govern that work and will prevail over these terms where they differ.

2. Nature of our services

We provide documentation and advisory assistance in connection with the recovery of unclaimed shares, dividends and related financial assets. We are not a law firm, a broker, a portfolio manager or an intermediary registered with SEBI, and nothing we provide is legal, tax or investment advice. Where legal representation is required, we will say so and you may engage an advocate of your choice.

3. No guarantee of outcome

Recovery depends on the records of the company, its Registrar & Transfer Agent, the depositories and the relevant authority, and on their internal timelines and discretion. We cannot and do not guarantee that a claim will succeed, nor the time it will take. Any timeline we give is an estimate based on comparable cases.

4. Engagement and fees

The initial search and assessment are provided free of charge and create no obligation on either side. Work beyond that begins only after you approve a written proposal setting out the scope, the professional fee and the expected out-of-pocket costs. Out-of-pocket costs — stamp duty, notarisation, advertisements, courier, statutory fees and similar — are payable by you whether or not the claim ultimately succeeds, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete and truthful information and documents.
  • Disclose any competing claim, family dispute, pending litigation, or previous rejection.
  • Sign, notarise and return documents promptly; delay on your side extends the timeline.
  • Warrant that you are the rightful owner or a duly entitled legal heir of the assets claimed.

We may decline or discontinue an engagement where information is withheld or misrepresented, or where the claim appears not to be lawfully yours.

6. Your money and securities

We do not take custody of your securities or funds at any stage. Recovered shares are credited to your demat account and recovered cash to your bank account, directly by the company, Registrar or authority.

7. Website content

Information on this site is general in nature, may become out of date, and is not a substitute for professional advice on your specific facts. Statutory requirements, thresholds, forms and timelines change; always confirm the current position before acting. The content, design and text of this site are our property and may not be copied or republished without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the professional fees actually received by us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of opportunity or market movement, or for delays, decisions or errors of any company, Registrar, depository or authority.

9. Termination

Either party may end an engagement on written notice. Fees for work already completed and costs already incurred remain payable, and we will hand back your documents and provide a status summary of the file.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
